Sonam Gupta is a Senior Developer Advocate at aiXplain with a PhD in Data Science. She specializes in bridging the gap between complex AI technologies and developer communities by creating accessible, engaging content. With a strong background in data science, AI research, and developer engagement, she is passionate about democratizing AI through storytelling, community-building, and creative outreach.
AI/ML Research Engineer
Lucas Pavanelli
Lucas Pavanelli has 3+ years of versatile experience building and deploying production-ready machine learning models and researching and experimenting with novel ideas in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) field. He is an AI/ML Research Engineer with cross-domain experience and knows the startup environment well. He is a fast worker who works backward from the product specifications. In aiXplain, Lucas is currently leading the technical development of the FineTune product, allowing users to select their dataset and fine-tune different NLP models (LLM, MT, ASR) using suppliers such as Hugging Face, OpenAI, and Azure. His work involves both the specification of technical tasks and the development of main functions for the product. Lucas researches NLP and has co-authored five peer-reviewed scientific papers, two with the aiXplain Science team. He keeps up with current AI research and sees opportunities to apply new ideas to aiXplain products.
