A Glimpse at the Future of NLP

Exploring Spoken Audio Translation

The latest advances in deep learning technology have opened up the doors to new possibilities to address Natural Language Processing tasks. One of the main fields benefiting from those developments is language translation. The latest research relies on using a single neural network to directly translate the input audio signal in one language into a text in a different language without intermediate transcription steps.

Together with Pi Campus and the Italian Association for Machine Learning, we are hosting a live-streamed conference led by Marco Turchi – Head of the Human Language Technology Machine Translation group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler –  and very relevant guests from the AI industry.

During the event, Marco Turchi will present the latest advancements in end-to-end speech translation through two main tasks: subtitle generation and mitigating the gender bias in spoken language translation. After that, our select guests will explore different case studies from the latest state-of-the-art technology.

Register now to get an exclusive preview of some of the most advanced technological solutions on the market and understand how your company can benefit from it. Let’s step into the future!
